I explore the American West through painting, where history, landscape, and memory intersect. My work moves between abstraction and narrative, tracing what remains, what fades, and what is carried through time.
I am an artist with a background in art history and archaeology. This academic foundation deeply informs my practice and my way of looking at images, objects and the traces of the past. I have always been drawn to history in its many forms, and to archaeology as a way of understanding what is left behind by time.
My work is not about illustrating history but about engaging with its echoes, its absences, and its layered presence in the landscape;
